This week, we’re meeting Bailey. She’s proof that sometimes the best things happen when you’re not even planning for them.
Bailey’s family is a true dog family, and they've always had a dog in their home. When they lost their much-loved pup, Abby, the house suddenly felt much emptier. If you’ve ever been there, you know the feeling.
While on a trip to South Florida, Bailey’s parents found themselves with a little extra time on their hands, and they decided to visit the Humane Society on a whim. And that’s where Bailey, a rescue from Puerto Rico, entered the picture.
She was such a cute little thing, they decided to adopt her on the spot.
These days, Bailey is right at home. She loves checking out the backyard and keeping watch for critters. She’s eight years old, full of personality, and super cute!
Bailey's story is a great reminder that the perfect companion doesn’t always arrive on a schedule. Sometimes they can show up in our lives right when we need them the most.
